SPECIAL EDITION CANVAS PRINTS
Special Edition Canvas Prints are beautiful. They are lightweight, easy to hang, resistant to glare, cleanable, and often the most cost-effective option for purchasing artwork. A premium canvas print comes sealed with an archival top-coat for UV and abrasion resistance. A semi-gloss finish gives the lustre that is similar to acrylic paint, while semi-matte or satin finish are also options.
Photography of the Original Painting
The photographic process for large paintings is extremely complex, and involves taking high resolution images of sections of the canvas to make a composite image. The result gives even the finest detail of every brushstroke to be reproduced in the final Print.
Stretching and Mounting
Each print is mounted in a wooden stretcher. There are several choices for depth of canvas stretcher or mounting. I often suggest a 1.5 inch Gallery-wrap, meaning that the image extends on all four sides of the Print.
Choice of colour for sides of stretcher:
White, black, or mirrored image. This is where the painting image is reflected and mirrored around the sides of the canvas. This makes the Special Edition unique. A wrap-around image is available by request and a small surcharge is added for this order.
Premium canvas is a truly outstanding material – a thick, bright white, archival poly-cotton blend with excellent contrast and saturation in a consistent weave. Available up to 60″ wide.

Special Edition Canvas Prints are available in a range of sizes. These will reflect the proportions of the original painting, and we can scale the image up or down (larger or smaller) to suit your particular preference.

Canvas Stretchers are 1.5 inch deep, with the image wrapped around all sides. Fine Art Prints on Paper are printed and packed either flat or rolled, ready for mailing.

This is to certify that I have personally overseen the process of photography, printing and UV Protection. This Certificate will have your name, the title of the original Painting, the size of Print, the date of issue, and my signature.
