SINTESI

In the early summer I searched out a beach in Cadboro Bay where Emily Carr once went to complete one of her famous paintings. Together with my artist friend Angharad, we took our sketching pads and tools and a picnic basket to spend the time chatting and musing on where and how Emily Carr created her art. The sketch is the inspiration for my painting ‘Sintesi’ from Cadboro Bay.
