The colours of the sea change with the light, and the time of day. If the skies are not bright, the ocean becomes green with deep shadows and highlights of gold. Almost as if a cloth were woven with natural dyes, the elements create an ever changing design in layers. Looking deep into the ocean I can see the movement and swirling currents as they pass.
Noon is the moment of change when, depending on the weather, a misty morning becomes diffuse and a soft overhead sunlight casts shadows through the surface of the water.
